Masterclass: Lean Software Development, a Scrum Alternative

Friday, December 4, 2020 at 7:00 AM until 8:00 AMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

    • Synopsis: Most professionals today have heard the term "Agile". Businesses are even starting to get the idea that agile isn't just something that the development team does. It requires all hands on deck. However, even with training, the understanding is often shallow and chiefly focused on the Scrum methodology. But Scrum isn't for everyone, and sometimes it doesn't fit. Does that mean the business should be left out of the agile revolution?
The Lean Software Development methodology is an alternative to Scrum. It too adheres to the Agile Manifesto and the 12 Principles of Agile. This fascinating system was born out of Toyota's Lean Manufacturing process that was developed in the 1950's (the granddaddy of agile). Lean development is a mature process for maturing teams.
Take a moment to add depth to your understanding of agile, 'cause it isn't all sprints and points!
